“Fantastic campsite. Very child-friendly. Little pool, playground, and all! Dogs are welcome too. Even though there were heaps of people there, it was very quiet and lovely. Right next to the beach. Friendly, helpful service. We parked in the oval, just the right amount of sun for the solar and shade for us humans and dogs. Great to see all the fruit tree plantings about, what a great idea. Tracks to the beach everywhere. And that beach goes on for miles. Great for dog runs! Very happy campers!”

“Very friendly campsite. The kitchen had lots of gear including pots pans, air fryer etc. Very clean amenities $2 for hot showers. Good beach access and we had our 2 dogs, which was great. Fish and chips from the van were yum. Great 4 days close to Christchurch but far enough away 👍🏼”

“Great holiday park right next to the beach! We stayed in one of the small caravans permanently located on site. It was a comfy space with lighting and plenty of sockets available for charging all our devices. The kitchen area was fairly small but functional, and there was a van onsite that was providing some dinner bits for anyone who didn’t have food. Little shop was available in the camp office for various sweets, drinks, and treats. It is a little away from pretty much everything but if you’re not looking for that kind of vibe, then there are other parks closer to civilisation available. Really easy night at the campground and the beach is an amazing spot to potter along in the evening.”

“Just spent 8 days here with the dogs in my camper. Our hosts, Kevin and Gail were great, and made us very welcome. Walks to the beach gave the dogs a great time and a swim. amenities were very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. totally recommend it if you’re a family or traveling with pets. The takeaways from the caravan were very nice also.”

“Stayed for a while, the facilities were always clean and tidy. They looked after me well and I enjoyed the takeaways that are available on Fridays and Saturdays. All in all a great vacation in a great environment. Would definitely visit again.”

“This is a great camp site. Nice and friendly campers and owners. Great kitchen with everything you need if I forgot something, just saying. I was dog sitting so booked the site with fencing all around, perfect. Nice shop on site. Lots of walking trails, as well as the beach. I will definitely be back.”

“Love this place. It’s an old-fashioned holiday park with good old-fashioned service. Everything is clean and friendly. Love dropping off to sleep with the sound of the sea. Love the walk along the beach and around the village. Love, love, love the kai available on Friday and Saturday night. Awesome cod n chips, delicious burgers. Grandkids visited for tea and they were welcomed, with no excessive charging. I had my dog with me and we stayed in the “dog area” so he had friends to say hello to.”
