Leithfield Beach Holiday Park is one of the few dog friendly campsites in the South Island of New Zealand that welcomes dogs all year round, school holidays included.

We allow dogs by permission of camp management only. Please note that dogs have to be on short leash at all times and not in or around camp facilities*.

NEW: We now have one large fully fenced powered site, and two fully fenced sites so your dog can enjoy some time off their leash.

There is plenty for you and your dog to do around Leithfield Beach Holiday Park including long walks on the beach directly accessible from the park.

* If there are any problems i.e. excessive territorial behaviour, barking or aggression, you will be asked to remove your dog.
