Kevin and Gail have owned Leithfield Beach Holiday Park for nearly 15 years but their ties to camping go way back!
Kevin goes back over 40 years when he and Gail first got married – he was converted!
Gail on the other hand…
Her parents honeymooned in a tent, then when the girls arrived one after the other her mum washed nappies in the stream. They travelled the length on NZ, particularly the South Island, camping at Lakes and rivers (Dad was a fisherman). The girls learnt cloud formations (model airplanes) and rock formations whilst they visited nearly every hydro dam in the country.
They knew they were blessed!
Nowadays Gail and Kevin’s 4 children, their partners and the 9 grandchildren continue the family tradition
