People often ask what trails there are to do in the area, here are just a few to look up & try out
- Forest trails
Between our camp and the beach, we have beautiful forest with a trail for young and old to explore-travelling both north and south of the camp. With the Fairy Forest to the south.
- Kowai River Trail
Leave our camp and head to the beach northern carpark and start along behind the sand dunes, then head in to follow the river – whether by foot or cycle.
Come out at The Old Leithfield Hotel for a drink and meal or carry on around looping back to the camp via the State Highway
- Amberley Township
15 minutes up the road you will find The Amberley Domain Walk, the beach, and also a walk through Amberley Lagoon adjacent to the local Golf Course
- Waikari Village Walks
Waikari has many to chose from, including The Plane Table, Waikari Village Walkway, Waikari Village Green Loops
